Silverstone (GP 2000-2009)
Available in 360, 580 and 910mm.
Silverstone started life as one of many surplus airfields left after the Second World War. Located just outside the village of Silverstone and straddling the Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire counties, it hosted it's first race on 2nd October 1948. The track went through changes resulting in a different layout for 2010.
The 2000-2009 GP-track layout was 3.194 miles long and hosted the British Formula One, MotoGP and the World Endurance Championship "6 Hours of Silverstone". The first Formula 1 Grand Prix was held here in 1950 before Brands Hatch took the race between 1964 and 1986.
