Track Facts

Situated in the village it is also known as, Kirkby Mallory, Mallory Park is one of the shortest permanent race circuits in the UK. Shorter circuits in the UK are Silverstone's Stowe, Brand Hatch's Indy, Knockhill (in Scotland!) and Lydden Hill.

The original Circuit at Mallory Park was a 1.00 mile oval, built in 1956 and holding it's first race in April that year. A close loop, complete with hairpin bend, was added later increasing the length of circuit. Later additions were made to reduce the speed for motorcycle races.

In it's current form the circuit can be raced in the 1.39 mi course including chicane (Charlies & Stapletons) and Edwina's, a 1.35 mi course without chicane and a 1.00 mi oval.
