Track Facts
Until 2006 known as Circuito Internazionale Santa Monica, the Misano World Circuit is located next to the town of Misano Adriatico in Santa Monica. Work started on Marco Simoncelli in 1970, with the track opening in 1972. The course hosts the Superbike World Championship and MotoGP amongst other events. The track in its current format is 2.525 mi long.
