Track Facts
Host to the Hungarian Formula One and World Touring Car Championship, the Hungaroring opened in 1986 in Mogyorod, just outside Budapest, Hungary. The track took only 8 months to build - less time than any other Formula 1 course! The circuit has undergone different revisions that resulted in the current 2.722 mi long circuit in 2003.
