Track Facts
Located in the Montmelo municipality within the Barcelona metropolitan area in Catalonia, Spain, the Circuit de Catalunya (as it was known until 2013) was built in 1991. It hosted its first Formula One that same year and hosts other racing series such as the MotoGP.
