Track Facts
The Shanghai International Circuit, host to the Chinese Formula One, the World Endurance Championship "6 Hours of Shanghai" and the World Touring Car Championship, is located in Jiading, Shanghai. The track opened in 2004 and hosted its first Formula 1 Grand Prix that year. It previously held the MotoGP, last in 2008. Another Hermann Tilke design, the track is 3.388 mi long.
